Isn't that a fun sock pattern? That was my second ever pair of socks, believe it or not. I did them for my MIL who is crazy for loons. Unfortuneately, she didn't quite "get" that they were loon socks. Ah, well...

Great job so far!

-Lisa

What a fabulous sock! I know you said you wanted to master the art, but you seem great at it to me. Your stitches all look so even and I don't see any signs of puckering. Really nice! And that sweater is drop-dead gorgeous. What pattern is it?

Looks fantastic! I have colourwork on my to-learn in 2006 list but I am beginning to be a bit concerned about the months slipping by with no progress in that direction... I am crap at and hate knitting socks, so I think I'm going to have to practice on a hat or some mittens. But I have my sights set firmly on the Equinox Pullover on the cover of the fall Interweave Knits.
I love your new look too!

Hi~
I just left a comment at Grumperina's blog and it seems to have replaced your comment with mine? I think the program is whacked! Swear I filled out my own info, wrote the comment & hit post. It says I'm you...and blames you for the really long post full of questions on how to do the fitted arch she was showing!

The colorwork looks great - but I find the color combination strangely disturbing... What colors are you thinking for the sweater?
