Still in Kentucky, but heading down this evening to MerleFest in North Carolina.
A few notes of interest:

I go away for a few days and there are 145 feeds in my bloglines. I’ll never catch up.It’s sunny and 80 here in Kentucky. Thank you, weather gods, because this is exactly what Ineeded, and the weather is perfect for festival-going. It feels very, very good to be back here. In […]
1. Non-drowsy cold medicines, of all varieties, make me feel high. I used to think it was just Day-quil, but no. It’s all non-drowsy meds. Whatever it is they put in there to counteract the soporific qualities makes me absolutely dizzy-loopy. It’s a challenge to knit on size 0 needles when you feel loopy.

As if the nasty weather weren’t enough, I’ve been floored by a particularly aggressive cold. [Pardon the photo… I took it last night in the bathroom mirror. Still trying to figure out how to do self-portraits with knit-wear]
Pattern: Purl Beret (thanks to Melissa for turning me on to the project)
Yarn: Collinette Jitterbug in “Tuscany” courtesy […]

I had a post of recent knitting all written and tidy, but my camera battery refuses to charge before the light disappears, so I’ll save it for tomorrow. BUT — I thought I’d share some photos from my recent trip to Colonial Williamsburg and up the Eastern Shore. Before I do, just a note — […]

At long last, it’s time — I’m ready for Sound Swap sign-ups (I can tell already I’m gonna have a good time with alliteration!)
[Don’t worry — all my music isn’t classical. Just these records. But aren’t they pretty?]
What is Sound Swap?
Sound Swap arose from my desperate need for new music. Several of you out in […]
