What about Dashing, from the new Knitty? I love my Fetchings and I bet the longer version is equally as nice...

Sorry. I realized afterwards that my comment could be misinterpreted. I meant for your mom's gloves, not for your lovely silk. That I have no suggestion for. But it looks absolutely lovely and soft.

Yum, YUM! I'm so into silky blends right now. I want that pink yarn--it is ever so pretty.

Your mom recognizes the good stuff!!

That yarn is luscious. No suggestions--but definitely go with something that you can wear right next to your skin. You'll want to get every ounce of pleasure out of that yarn! (but always wash it right away after you wear it; silk is finicky.)

There are heaps of nice camisole patterns in Vintage Knits, and there are a few nice ones scattered through recent Interweave Knits... I think the 'Lace Nightie' (I can barely bring myself to type those words) from the internet content of the current issue of IK could be well modified to suit the yarn and your requirements... but 8 skeins would be enough for something more substantial than a cami... hmmmm, save it for a rainy day I say!

Ohhh, Luxury! I have knit an Orangina/Pinkina with only 4 skeins of it, for me it's the Queen of all yarns, silk, that's plied and just perfect in every aspect! Don't let it sit in your stash, something lovely for summer would be just perfect for it!
