I almost had another FO for you today, but unfortunately my own procrastination got the better of me, so instead of sitting in the park and knitting today, as I would rather be spending the day, I am glued to my desk chair, finishing up some writing that is due at midnight tonight.  Whole lovely day wasted inside.  But, I did take a trip to the farmer’s market this morning, and I’ll leave you (again) with pictures of flowers, and other beauty that I found today in the world.

I bought eggs at the farmer’s market this morning and made one for lunch.  I cracked it open and look what I found:

Happy Derby Day — go drink a Mint Julep… and pour some out for me, the sad girl who can’t have whiskey until this writing assignment is complete (I’m not even going to tell you the number of times I have claimed today that the whiskey would probably help).  sigh.
