Back to the Grind

Sorry for being away from the blog for so long (again). Many things have been up in the air lately, leaving me little time for blogging. Mostly, I’ve been scrambling to get my syllabus together for the course I’m teaching this fall. While I’ve taught before, this is the first time I’m teaching a class that is 100% (well… maybe more like 90%) of my own devising. I’m super excited about it, but it takes a lot more effort and time to prep your own class than it does to prepare someone elses. Yes.
I was also temporarily disabled from knitting by a pretty severe headache. This turned into a distraction from knitting in other ways when I was (fortunately only temporarily) saddled with the very real fear that my brain might be broken. No need to worry, though. My brain is not broken. The headache has (at long last) gone away, and all seems to be right with the world again. I knit a little today when I was avoiding looking at my syllabus (dissertation? what dissertation?) and it felt good. Expect to see a new project this week, if I can get my act together.

I’m glad the headache went away - ugh!! Hang in there.
i’m glad your brain isn’t broken! welcome back!
Blogging break = SO understandable. Glad you’re feeling better and that you’re back!
You have a lot on your plate! No wonder your brain hurteded. Hang tough.
Welcome back, and I’m so glad to hear your brain is okay.
Prep is SO different when the syllabus is all your own — more to do, and more at stake. I’m sure your class will be great!! xo
I know this is not the subject: but I NEVER received my sound swap package…..
Ever.
Hope you are feeling better soon! I look forward to the new project!
