Baby’s Bootikins
Sep 21st, 2007 by jennie

Pattern: Baby’s Bootikins, from Knitting Vintage Socks
Yarn: Leftovers of Regia Silk and Lorna’s Laces in “Tuscany” (originally used for Amy’s Socks and my Mom’s Fingerless Gloves)
Needles: Susan Bates, US 00 dpns
Thoughts: Not much to say about these. I love, love, love the garter stitch heel and toe. For some reason, I got stalled on the second. Finished it up in about an hour and a half tonight. They’re sweet and pretty, fun to knit, and a great way to use up leftover sock yarn. An extra, extra special thanks to Christine for her leftover Regia (I ran out on the second sock!).

Yay - they look great, glad that little extra bit helped you finish them up.
I remember you knitting these when we knit in Central Park lo these many months ago! They’re so fun!
These are darling!! I want a pair! I would totally wear them. Great color choices.
Those are SO cute - the colorful bits add the perfect contrast.
