Sigh. Today I turned this:

[please ignore the kitty paw prints all over my window sill… it’s their favorite place to sit. Note to self: wash window sills]
into this:

I *heart* the pattern. I *heart* the yarn. But the pattern looks much, much better when it’s not streatched the max, and it was streatching to the max. So — I’ll reknit. As soon as I have the strength to restart that chart. Give me a few days to get a grip. Ripping this one out hurt!
ouch! that is beautiful yarn though…i’m sure you’ll do it justice when you knit it up again.
sorry to hear you had to start over - but I’m sure the result will be great. By the way - what is the pattern? Original or someone else’s? Cause I love it, and want my own!
yowch.
nooooooo!
i’m glad you posted this though. i’ll probably add some extra purl gutters when i knit these. godspeed with the reknitting!
Eeek, that is always painful to do. I hope you had a nice cold beer there to ease the pain!
OH, I misunderstood the Flickr pics! I didn’t know you had to frog.
Well, you’ll knit em up bigger and better next time!
Alas!
Oh no!! It was so pretty! Hopefully the next time around will work out better for you.
Oh, that’s so sad! It looked so very, very beatiful.
Heh. Beautiful, that is. Time for more coffee!
Ouch! That hurt just to look at. I hope you ripped it quick–like a band-aid.
Ouch! Do reknit, though — it will be worth it.
